ESG Training Part II: Implementing ESG in (Re)Insurance Operations:
PART II - IMPLEMENTING ESG IN (RE)INSURANCE OPERATIONS COURSE OVERVIEW
Environmental, social and governance (ESG) refers to a set of environmental, social, and governance criteria used to evaluate a company’s sustainability practices and long-term value. ESG is often integrated into broader sustainability and risk management frameworks to guide strategy and decision-making. It helps businesses identify and manage risks and opportunities across areas such as climate impact, social responsibility, and corporate governance. By integrating ESG considerations into strategy and operations, organizations can improve long-term performance, build stakeholder trust, and enhance resilience.
In the second part of the ESG Webinar series, participants will explore the development of ESG policies and frameworks and discuss the integration of ESG into underwriting and risk assessment processes in (re)insurance. The training will further analyse the metrics and performance indicators in ESG and examine the stakeholder engagement and communication strategies in ESG.
